Football Recap: Triton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Triton had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it nine. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the South Johnston Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 42-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

As for South Johnston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Holt Langston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 193 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 48 receiving yards and one touchdown.
