The contest was Stores, Jr.'s fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of NaJay Bess, who posted 13 points.

St. Raymond Boys better focus on containing Jasiah Jervis and Hassan Koureissi as the pair were huge in Archbishop Stepinac's win. Jervis went 7 of 12 on his way to 24 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Koureissi went 6 for 11 on his way to 18 points and three steals. Jervis is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Archbishop Stepinac is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for St. Raymond Boys, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as St. Raymond Boys and Archbishop Stepinac are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. St. Raymond Boys hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 66.5 points per game. However, it's not like Archbishop Stepinac struggles in that department as they've been averaging 65.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
St. Raymond Boys didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Archbishop Stepinac in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Archbishop Stepinac's Boogie Fland, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for St. Raymond Boys to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
