Swain County lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Andrews, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Maroon Devils blew past the Wildcats 55-0 on Friday. The game marked the Maroon Devils' most dominant win of the season so far.

Andruw Cody went supernova, throwing for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five passes, while also rushing for 56 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (143.8). Zeke Glaspie was in the mix too, providing Swain County with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Swain County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 358 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 195 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Swain County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Andrews, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Swain County and Andrews will both be playing Robbinsville the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Black Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Maroon Devils will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
