Homer entered their tilt with Bloomfield on Monday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Everything went their way against the Bloomfield Bees as they made off with a 65-44 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Homer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexandra Albrecht, who posted 13 points and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Lilly Harris, who went 7-for-13 en route to 20 points and four steals.

Despite the defeat, Bloomfield saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madyson Mlady dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 40.9% of Bloomfield's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kora Poppe, who had 11 points.

Homer's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Bloomfield, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Homer has already played their next contest, a 61-59 win against Bancroft-Rosalie on the 11th. As for Bloomfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-47 defeat against Neligh-Oakdale on the 11th.
