Volleyball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Old Plank Christian Academy's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Old Plank Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Covenant School of Jacksonville Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Covenant School of Jacksonville found their leader in freshman Emma Bryant, who had 12 digs and two aces. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Old Plank Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Covenant School of Jacksonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Old Plank Christian Academy will take on Christ's Church Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant School of Jacksonville, they will square off against Eagle's View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
