Softball Recap: Gilbert Christian Takes a Loss

Gilbert Christian fell victim to Northwest Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 15-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Gilbert Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Northwest Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilbert Christian will square off against Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northwest Christian, they will challenge Bourgade Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
