Baseball Recap: Miller Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Miller never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Premont on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Premont Cowboys as they made off with an 11-5 win. The Buccaneers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18, 2024.

Miller's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Eathan Vela, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another was Uriah Howard, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Miller's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Premont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Miller and Premont will both be playing Falfurrias the next time they take the field. Premont will head out to face Falfurrias at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Miller will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
