Basketball Recap: Byers Comes Up Short

Byers lost against Myrtle back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Byers Lions fell to the Myrtle Hawks 55-50. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Byers' defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Myrtle, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-17.

Byers didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-51 loss against Hickory Flat on the 10th. As for Myrtle, they have also already played their next game, a 62-54 victory against Blue Mountain on the 10th.
