Ravenscroft came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-47 W against the Durham Academy Cavaliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-72 last Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Durham Academy lost, don't look at Quin Frasher. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 en route to 18 points and five rebounds. Frasher is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. PJ Jeffries was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Ravenscroft's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10. As for Durham Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
