Analysis: In the Pac-5 playoffs, there are simply no easy games. While Santa Margarita enters as the clear favorite, there is no certainty that the Eagles will make it out of the first round. They've looked good--and at times, great--this season, and are fresh off a 17-7 victory over Trinity League power Mater Dei. Edison does not possess the same caliber of weapons as last season, particularly after losing Davion Orphey for the season. However, they've displayed a stout defense that may be able to slow Adam Young and the Santa Margarita offense.
