Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Takes a Loss

Fayetteville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Wayne County Wildcats, falling 77-44. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-17.

Sayler Skelton was nothing short of spectacular for Wayne County: he went 7 of 8 on his way to 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Cayman Camfield, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Wayne County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Fayetteville has already played their next game (against Eagleville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wayne County will take on Collinwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
