Nixon won the last time they faced Eagle Pass and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Nixon easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Nixon found their leader in sophomore Mia Arevalo, who had ten assists and nine digs.

Nixon's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Eagle Pass, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
