Football Recap: South Kingstown Rebels vs. Westerly Bulldogs

South Kingstown and Westerly squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but South Kingstown had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 44-21. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Rebels struggled afterwards.

Brayden Rosen threw for 115 yards and one TD. Jack Sullivan was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Dante Peno rushed for 125 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries.

Landon Husereau had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 233 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 62 yards for Westerly. The Bulldogs are undefeated when Husereau posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Daniel Cummings was another key player, picking up 154 receiving yards and three scores.
