Baseball Recap: Llano Comes Up Short

The Llano Yellowjackets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-6 to the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Will Morris led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Colton Bailey, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Llano's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Copperas Cove, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9-1 record this season.

Llano will be playing at home against Blanco at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Llano is facing Blanco at the right time seeing as Blanco is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Copperas Cove, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Shoemaker at 7:00 p.m. on April 4.
