Baseball Recap: Mountain Range Comes Up Short

Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the Brighton Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 16-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Brighton, their record is now 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Range will host Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brighton, they will be playing at home against Erie at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
