Volleyball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia lost against Calhoun back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Roughnecks fell 2-0 to the Sandcrabs.

Aleyah (AJ) Fuller paced Columbia's offense, picking up five kills. Fuller were helped by LimiLah Stroman and Jolee McDonald, who contributed seven assists each.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Calhoun, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Columbia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hitchcock on the 21st. As for Calhoun, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Louise on the 21st.
