Basketball Recap: Chandler Prep Takes a Loss

Chandler Prep suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 46-16 defeat at the hands of the Pima Roughriders. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jade Cheung was Chandler Prep's leading scorer, having posted six points. Lailani Hall took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Pima's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Page Ashby, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Those five boards gave Ashby a new career-high. Kashlee Alder also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Chandler Prep dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Pima, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Chandler Prep has already played their next match, a 95-10 defeat against Miami on the 13th. As for Pima, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-6 win against Arete Prep on the 13th.
