Baseball Recap: Cranberry Area Beats Keystone for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Cranberry Area waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Keystone Panthers. Four seems to be a good number for the Berries as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Connor Morrow was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Galla, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Cranberry Area now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Keystone, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cranberry Area is set to face off against their familiar foe Moniteau at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Keystone will take on rival Karns City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
