Basketball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Solon last Sunday, Centerville came back down to earth. The Centerville Elks fell 68-57 to the Big Walnut Golden Eagles on Saturday.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Big Walnut, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Centerville and Big Walnut should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Centerville (ranked 102nd) will meet Beavercreek (ranked 216th) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Big Walnut will face off against Harvest Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday up 165 places (48 vs. 213).
