Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bellaire on Monday, Edison came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 8-4 to the Indian Creek Redskins on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost six in a row.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Indian Creek, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Coming up, Edison will host Steubenville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Big Red have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Indian Creek, they will challenge Carrollton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight.
