Volleyball Recap: Flanagan-Cornell Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Flanagan-Cornell saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Olympia Spartans by a score of 2-0.

Carleigh Pfaff was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs. Lani Pinkerton was another key player, getting seven digs, five kills, and one block.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kinley Steinkamp, who had three digs and two aces. Steinkamp has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Flanagan-Cornell has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Olympia, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Flanagan-Cornell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against St. Bede on the 20th. As for Olympia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Decatur Eisenhower on the 20th.
