It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Winters had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Williams Yellowjackets 47-6. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Lane Brown had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 148 yards and one TD on only nine carries, while also throwing for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Winters was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 166 rushing yards in six consecutive games.

Winters didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Macguire Plitt.

Winters pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Williams, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Winters will take on Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
