Football Recap: Girard Trojans vs. Prairie View Buffalos
The matchup between Girard and Prairie View on Friday hardly resembled the 21-0 effort from their previous meeting. Girard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Prairie View, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Girard will square off against Anderson County on Friday. Girard is facing Anderson County at the right time seeing as Anderson County is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Prairie View, they will take on Iola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prairie View knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Iola likes a good challenge.
