Football Game Preview: Cedar Falls vs. Indianola

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Friday Cedar Falls will take on Indianola at 7:00 PM. Cedar Falls are cruising in on a nine-game winning streak while Indianola are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.

Cedar Falls were able to grind out a solid victory over Prairie last Friday, winning 28-14.

Meanwhile, Indianola have to be hurting after a devastating 16-42 defeat at the hands of Des Moines East. The state rankings had actually given Indianola a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Cedar Falls's win lifted them to 9-0 while Indianola's loss dropped them down to 6-3. We'll find out if Cedar Falls can add another positive mark to their record or if Indianola can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Cedar Falls's step.
