Butler had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They came out on top against the Charlotte Catholic Cougars by a score of 56-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-45 back in January.

Butler's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Ross, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. Ross is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Brooklyn Saunders was another key player, putting up 18 points along with eight boards and seven assists.

Butler smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Charlotte Catholic's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Megan Shea, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Maggie Kernodle, who went 8 for 18 en route to 21 points. With that strong performance, Kernodle is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Butler's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points over those games. As for Charlotte Catholic, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9.

Butler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-54 loss against Legion Collegiate Academy on the 11th. As for Charlotte Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-60 victory against East Mecklenburg on the 11th.
