Softball Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

St. Patrick was the 11-8 winner over Ocean Springs when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. St. Patrick lost 16-2 to Ocean Springs on Friday. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Patrick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rowan Romano, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

St. Patrick's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ocean Springs, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Patrick will challenge Picayune at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ocean Springs, they will face off against Harrison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
