Sacred Heart-Griffin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the New Berlin Pretzels. That's more bragging rights for the Cyclones, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sacred Heart-Griffin took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-12.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart-Griffin will challenge MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Cyclones their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for New Berlin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Greene at 7:00 p.m.
