After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Garinger brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past the Rocky River Ravens 17-10 on Tuesday. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Samuel Gwin was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with six stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ramphy Rodr?guez, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Garinger always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Garinger's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 5-13. As for Rocky River, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.
