Softball Recap: Danville Warriors vs. Crawfordsville Athenians
Danville won the last time they faced Crawfordsville, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Danville Warriors put the hurt on the Crawfordsville Athenians with a sharp 13-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Danville.
Madalynn Newman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned run off two hits (she also only allowed one walk). Newman was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Taylor Hillman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and a triple. Evey Cromer was another key contributor, going 2-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI.
