Basketball Game Preview: East Central Eagles vs. Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida

The East Central Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for East Central and seven for Fond du Lac Ojibwe O dating back to last season.

Last Friday, East Central lost to Hill City/Northland on the road by a 64-49 margin.

Meanwhile, Fond du Lac Ojibwe O came up short against Red Lake on Saturday and fell 55-46.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fond du Lac Ojibwe O, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for East Central against Fond du Lac Ojibwe O when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured an 87-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
