Basketball Recap: Mifflinburg Takes a Loss

Mifflinburg lost against Warrior Run back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mifflinburg Wildcats took a 69-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrior Run Defenders. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Defenders are ranked 39th).

Mifflinburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Warrior Run, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

While Mifflinburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
