Volleyball Game Preview: Castle Knights vs. Kahuku Red Raiders

The Castle Knights will head out to challenge the Kahuku Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row, Castle turned things around against Farrington on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Governors.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kahuku and Kalani meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Red Raiders blew past the Falcons 3-0.

Kahuku's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Castle, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-10.

Castle suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Kahuku in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
