Jeff Mendros wasn't messing around on Friday, going 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The contest was also his fifth straight with 18 or morepoints. While that hot streak is impressive, perhaps more impressive is what he's done for his team: he's posted a third or more of Corning's points for three straight games. On the season, Mendros has averaged 17.6 points and 3.6 assists.

Looking ahead, Mendros and Corning will be playing at home against Las Plumas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mendros will face off against T.J. Thompson, the Thunderbirds' star point guard.
