Jasper is a perfect 7-0 against Washington since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will take on the Hatchets at 5:00 p.m. Jasper will be strutting in after a victory while Washington will be coming in after a defeat.

Jasper is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Princeton 15-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ayla Elkins was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Carlee Rogers, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Washington's offense. They lost 26-0 to North Posey on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Hatchets in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost eight in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Jasper and bumps their season record up to 16-10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-22.

Jasper took their win against Washington when the teams last played back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Hatchets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
