Softball Recap: Carrick Has No Trouble Against Perry Traditional Academy

While Carrick put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Perry Traditional Academy. Carrick was the clear victor by a 16-0 margin over Perry Traditional Academy. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Commodores, too.

The team relied heavily on Jayda Rose, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. Alayna Eisel was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

The victory got Carrick back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrick will take on Gateway at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry Traditional Academy, they will square off against Taylor Allderdice at 3:15 p.m. on April 2.
