Preview: Enterprise Yellowjackets vs. Loyd Star Hornets
The Enterprise Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the Loyd Star Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Saturday, Enterprise took a serious blow against Bogue Chitto, falling 62-28. Enterprise has not had much luck with Bogue Chitto recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Loyd Star put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down North Pike 82-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Loyd Star got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colby Terrell out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Nathan Mills was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
Their wins bumped Enterprise to 4-4 and Bogue Chitto to 6-0.
Enterprise was dealt a bruising 59-32 defeat at the hands of Loyd Star when the teams last played back in November. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Loyd Star's Terrell, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds.
