Football Game Preview: Sequoyah vs. Anderson County

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Sequoyah should expect quite the challenge on Friday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Anderson County at 7:30 PM . Sequoyah are limping into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Sequoyah entered their contest against East Ridge two weeks ago without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Sequoyah took a hard 34-49 fall against East Ridge. On a positive note, senior Josh Stakely put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Last Friday, Anderson County put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on East Hamilton with a sharp 35-3 victory. Anderson County are sitting pretty right now with nine consecutive wins.
