The Woodruff Wolverines will square off against the Chapman Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodruff is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 40.2 points per game this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chapman, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out Union County 30-27. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won seven in a row.
Woodruff's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Chapman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Woodruff against Chapman in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 44-10 victory. In that game, the Wolverines amassed a halftime lead of 23-3, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
