The third road contest was the charm for the Grand Junction Central Warriors, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 56-48 win over Glenwood Springs on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Grand Junction Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Grand Junction Central was led to victory by Krystyna Manzanarez and Brynn Wagner. Manzanarez scored 19 points along with three blocks and two steals, while Wagner scored 23 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wagner has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tuscani Ritter, who scored five points along with two steals.

Grand Junction Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Glenwood Springs, they bumped their record down to 5-7 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Grand Junction Central will take on Battle Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood Springs, they will head out on the road to square off against Montrose at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Montrose focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
