Baseball Preview: North Kansas City Hornets vs. Park Hill South Panthers
North Kansas City is 0-4 against Park Hill South since March of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. This will be North Kansas City's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
North Kansas City is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Winnetonka on Monday. They fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 2-1.
Nathan Krueger was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

Park Hill South has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for North Kansas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
