Volleyball Recap: Calallen Wildcats vs. Goliad Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Calallen took on Goliad on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since November 12, 2024.

Taylor Paredez paced Calallen's offense, picking up six kills. Paredez got some help from Grace Martinez and her 19 assists. Martinez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Amelia Hernandez, racking up two apiece.
Calallen's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Goliad, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
