Potter-Dix came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Lone Star, but Grant Kuntz wouldn't allow it. The Lone Star Longhorns walked away with a 54-47 victory over the Potter-Dix Coyotes on Thursday thanks in part to Kuntz, who posted 18 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds. He also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Lone Star is 5-2 when he posts at least five steals, but 1-4 otherwise.

Owen Glenn was another key player, putting up nine points and eight boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Potter-Dix's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Callen McConnell, who put up ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Landon Gasseling, who scored 19 points. That was a full 40.4% of Potter-Dix's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Tabor, who had eight points.

The win got Lone Star back to even at 6-6. As for Potter-Dix, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Lone Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-47 victory against Bethune on the 8th. As for Potter-Dix, they have also already played their next contest, a 66-36 loss against Garden County on the 7th.
