Football Recap: St. Francis De Sales Wins Going Away Against Valley Forge

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Francis de Sales had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Valley Forge Patriots 33-7. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Patriots are ranked 265th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Francis de Sales is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Valley Forge, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

As of now, neither St. Francis de Sales nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
