Providence won the last time they faced Austin and things went their way on Monday too. The Pioneers blew past the Eagles 13-3.

The team relied heavily on Sydney Laslie (2027), who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Ellie Wint (2027) also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Providence has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Coming up, Providence will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Austin, they have already played their next game, a 15-5 win against Scottsburg on the 6th.
