Dade Christian extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping them up to 8-0. They put the hurt on the Reagan Bison with a sharp 86-64 victory. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dade Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nikola Mirkovic, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. Mirkovic is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Alonso, who posted 22 points and six rebounds.

Dade Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They racked up 11 more assists than Reagan's also-impressive total of 11.

As for Reagan, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while Dade Christian is ranked 36th).

Reagan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Chris Ramos, who earned 20 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavarius Pittman, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five boards.

Dade Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-45 win against Central on the 12th. As for Reagan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 62-61 victory against Miami Christian on the 11th.
