The biggest upset of the week belonged to Port Angeles, who took down 226th ranked Port Angeles, 29-7.
Levi Rowland and Josh Ganowski provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bremerton. The connection went for 53 yards, the longest such play in 2A Olympic this season.
Sequim's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jack Wiker threw for 139 and one touchdown and Christian Miles had 54 yards receiving. On the ground Wiker chipped in 131 yards. Josiah Anastasi helped Sequim's passing attack out by catching eight balls for 53 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Wiker of the Wolves is the league leader in passing yards this season with 484. He has also thrown two touchdowns. On the ground, North Mason's Brody Stromberg has rushed for 333 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ganowski. The Klahowya star has 10 catches for 267 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Knights take on North Kitsap. At the moment, Bremerton is in first, while the Vikings are in third.
The Knights moved up to 139 from 179 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Olympic. Bremerton was able to make the jump by beating the Bulldogs 58-31.
