Baseball Game Preview: Kenosha Christian Life Eagles vs. University School of Milwaukee Wildcats

Kenosha Christian Life is 0-10 against University School of Milwaukee since May of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m.

Kenosha Christian Life is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookfield Academy.

Evan Shaffer was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Daxton Lepinski, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times University School of Milwaukee and Heritage Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats blew past the Patriots 12-1 on Tuesday. That looming 12-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Will Reese was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Brock Miller was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Andy Werner was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

University School of Milwaukee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage Christian only posted a batting average of .235.

University School of Milwaukee's record is now 5-2. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Kenosha Christian Life might still be hurting after the 13-1 defeat they got from University School of Milwaukee in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
