Volleyball Game Preview: Curlew Cougars vs. Bridgeport Mustangs + How To Watch

The Curlew Cougars will venture away from home to challenge the Bridgeport Mustangs at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bridgeport took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Curlew, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Curlew challenged Columbia on Thursday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lions. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport lost 3-0 to Liberty Bell on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled against the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Curlew's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bridgeport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Curlew's way against Bridgeport in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Curlew made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
