After a string of eight wins, St. Francis's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sharks have suffered since November 5, 2024.

Rancho San Juan was led to victory by Delylah Magdaleno and Alyson Misner. Magdaleno had 12 assists and six digs, while Misner had five kills, four digs, two aces, and one block. Misner has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times she's played.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Rancho San Juan, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

St. Francis will be taking part in a tournament against Aptos at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Rancho San Juan, they will take on Pajaro Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
