Volleyball Recap: San Juan Comes Up Short

San Juan managed to slip by Lindhurst the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. San Juan lost 3-0 to Lindhurst on Wednesday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blazers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While San Juan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lindhurst's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

San Juan's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lindhurst, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Juan is set to face off against their familiar foe Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lindhurst will square off against rival Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
